Autumn Painting..

Making Ready For Winter    9" x 12"    O/P  

This seems like an appropriate title for this particular painting. It certainly does remind me of how life gets in the way of some nice plein air painting weather.
Mow the lawn for the last time before the snow flies, drain and roll up the garden hose, put the barbecue away, prep the snow blower,...does the list of "autumn things to do" ever seem to end when your minds eye is fixed to a canvas else were ?

I used my regular limited split palette for this painting.  I added cadmium orange to my palette list because it is somewhat of a time saver this time of the year.
Odourless mineral spirits was my only medium.
